Our History

Orbit Coaches Ltd is a family run business established in 1995. Over the last 25 years we have worked extremely hard to provide professional and comfortable journeys across Leicestershire and the UK.


“Orbit Minibus Service” was founded in 1995 by Neil with an 11 seater minibus providing airport transfers and day trips. 14 years and a new name later, Neil retired leaving Orbit Coaches Ltd to his son Lee and the finance department to daughter-in-law Tory.


In 2015, Lee’s brother Andy joined the family team as depot manager.


Together, the brothers have worked hard to build an impressive fleet of luxury coaches and buses, which we are extremely proud of.


In addition to being our managing director, Lee is a fully qualified mechanic and coach driver.


All of our fleet is maintained by Lee himself in house and undergoes monthly inspections and regular maintenance.


Our customers’ experience from the initial enquiry through to the trip is paramount to us. Reliability, safety, and a great service are at the heart of what we do.


The Team

We currently have a team of 20 staff, including our 15 drivers, who are all up to date with relevant DBS checks, licencing and industry policies. When you call to make a booking or enquiry, you will speak to either Tory (Lee’s wife) or Penny, our friendly office staff.



Fleet Tracking

Recently we have invested in a fleet tracking system, which allows us to track the location of the bus you have hired. This means we can give you an accurate time of arrival.
